The Experimental Medicine and Immunotherapeutics (EMIT) division welcomes potential PhD students from both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds. We have an excellent track record and provide comprehensive training programmes which encompass both relevant scientific subject and transferrable skills themes. This ensures that our graduate students develop into scientists and clinicians of the highest calibre with excellent future career prospects.

Clinicians wishing to pursue PhDs may wish to also make contact with the staff at the Clinical Academic Training Office (CATO) who have a wealth of experience in advising on academic and clinical training and identifying sources of funding.
