Amanda Kennedy and Dr Viknesh Selvarajah were awarded prizes at the American Heart Association and British Hypertension Society:

• Amanda Kennedy was awarded a poster prize at the American Heart Association Hypertension Meeting in Orlando in September 16 plus the St Catharine’s College 2016 prize for research excellence.
• Dr Viknesh Selvarajah won the Young Investigator Prize at the Annual Meeting of the British Hypertension Society in September 16 and was awarded a trip to the High Blood Pressure Council Meeting in the USA next year.
